Shades of Shibata! This episode begins with a discussion on our immediate thoughts surrounding the newly announced WWE all women's ppv coming in Oct 2018. This is followed by some thoughts over wXw's 16 Carat Gold Night 1 ppv from 2009 (0-21) Our wrestler spotlight for the episode is over one of NJPW's 'Three Muskateers' Katsuyori Shibata (21-39).

Next, we discuss the highlights surrounding the main belts in NOAH after their Emerald Spirits event (56-1:04). Last in the indies is a discussion over RPW's cross over with NJPW at Strong Style Evolved UK headlined by Ishii v Suzuki. We also talk about the match in the rain Suzuki v Okada (1:04-1:17)!

Tier 2 is focused on the recent NJPW event G1 Special headlined by Cody Rhodes v Omega and the fallout surrounding the ppv (1:17-1:39). Naturally, last is WWE. This time is about 2018 Extreme Rules (1:39-2:04).

Modern Cast: Ep 11 - June 2018 E3

June 2018 and E3 has past. Besides the big event, the summer lull is here, but that doesn't stop us from picking up new games and playing online [Splatoon 2, Fornite season 5, For Honor] (0-32). A few notable games came out in June, but are they worth buying (32-46)? Last, is the overall discussion of each conference be it their high or their lows? What were the standout games? Did XBOX change anything? Does Nintendo have any other titles than Smash Bros? Sony and Ubisoft sure like music (49-end).

June
Vampyr
Blaze Blue Cross Tag Battle
Mario Tennis Aces

Anime: Ep 28 - Aura Battler Dunbine (with Brains from Trash Pandas Watch Anime)

Football is coming home. Plus, Brains from TPWA joins the crew in this episode. Tori has not one but two quest updates and he runs down Nodame Cantible and Spice and Wolf (0-32). Isekai anime is a major sub-genre in anime today. We discuss the state of isekai, what shows are associated with it, and more (32-1:44). Before isekai was even a genre let alone popular, director Tomino and Sunrise came out with a show called Aura Battler Dunbine in the early 80's. Is it worth going back to watch or is it simply a product of the time (1:44-end)?

Wrestling: Ep 07 - UK Best in the World

Oh it's time, it's Vader time! We start with discussing Lashley v Roman and what the wXw women think of the women's revolution (0-23) Our wrestler spotlight for the episode is the international legend of Big Van Vader (23-52).

The indie show focus of this episode start off going over the farewell tour of Io Shirai from Japan, then Defiant Built to Destroy, some decent matches from CMLL, and then a lot of discussion surrounding Evolve 106 and 107 which JD personally got to attend (52-1:40).

Into our tier 2 promotions, NJPW finished off Kizuna Road before their next ppv run, but the big topics are over the good to great matches seen at Ring of Honor Best in the World (1:40-2:00). Last for the modern wrestling is always WWE. The NXT UK tournament has come to a conclusion and we discuss the results (2:03-2:17). JD updates the 2018 wrestlecast wrestler rankings before going into the last segment.

Rad and JD finish out the cast as we review past episodes of WCW Thunder: episode 3 (2:23-end).
